மு.வ : யாரையும் விட நாம் மிக்க காதல் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம் என்று சொன்னேனாக; யாரை விட...? யாரை விட..? என்று கேட்டு ஊடல் கொண்டாள்.

சாலமன் பாப்பையா : காதலர் எவரைக் காட்டிலும் நாம் மிகுந்த காதல் உடையவர்கள் என்றேன்; அதற்கு அவள் நான் பலரையும் காதலிப்பதாகவும், அவர்களுள் இவள்மீது அதிகக் காதல் உடையவன் என்று சொன்னதாகவும் எண்ணி, எவளைக் காட்டிலும் எவளைக் காட்டிலும் என் மீது காதல் உடையீர் என்று ஊடினாள்.
