மறைப்பேன்மன் யானிஃதோ நோயை இறைப்பவர்க்கு

ஊற்றுநீர் போல மிகும்.

Modern interpretation

I try to hide this love-sickness, but it grows like a spring that rises the more water is drawn from it. The more I pretend I am fine after a breakup, the harder the feelings can return.

I cannot hide this pain, yet I am too shy to tell the person who caused it. Sometimes you want to message someone who hurt you, but embarrassment stops you from saying how much you still care.
