தக்காங்கு நாடித் தலைச்செல்லா வண்ணத்தால்

ஒத்தாங்கு ஒறுப்பது வேந்து.

Modern interpretation

A just ruler examines a wrong carefully and gives a proportionate consequence that prevents it from happening again. If a student damages shared equipment, hearing both sides and requiring fair repair teaches responsibility better than public humiliation.

Modern interpretation

Strong leadership can begin an investigation firmly but should not punish more harshly than the facts require. A coach may take a safety violation seriously, then choose a measured consequence that helps a player improve.

Wealth owned by someone who is impossible to approach and always cold becomes frightening rather than admirable. A rich employer who never meets workers and treats every request with contempt may have money but no goodwill.
